Today is a pretty crappy day for me.  I haven't mentioned to too many people about a problem I'm facing.

On the 22nd I have an appointment with a General Surgeon to remove a mass that's in my lower abdomen.  We still aren't sure exactly what this is.

Today it's hurting pretty bad and it's hard to move around much.  I can't wait to get to the doctor to find out about the pain that has been plaguing me since our daughter was born.

Until then I get to live with all sorts of pain.

On the lighter note I'm finishing up the swaps that I've gotten behind on.  Right now I'm working on some really cute Artist Trading Cards.  They are in the theme of market stalls.

The next ATC I will tackle will be a Christmas Recipe ATC.  Not sure how I'm going to do it yet, but can't wait to get started.

Our little girl got to see Santa yesterday.  I think that she really enjoyed it.  She also got to go to Chuck E. Cheese with her class.  So all around a pretty exciting day for her.

Well until next time...

Yesterday we went to our little babies first parent teacher conference!  Wow she is smart!  We found out that she knows about computers and is on one daily :)

We received a link to a website and when we got home we sat her in front of the computer and she went to town.  She looked like a pro!  I couldn't believe it!!

We also found out how well she really is doing in math.  She is great in math and matching.  I guess she is advanced in that area!  How cool.

So our little girl is excelling more than we thought she would with her diagnosis of PDD.  Those little ones aren't given enough credit for how smart they really are.

She continues to make us proud everyday and smiles when we tell her so!

Ok more another day.

Here in dreary Erie winter seems to have arrived!  We've got some snow on the ground and it's cold as all get out here.

On the lighter side our little one got her first school pictures the other day!  We plan on sending them out with our Christmas cards.  She looks absolutely adorable in them.  I'm surprised her hair wasn't all messed up.  They must have fixed it up before they took the photo.

I'm in the planning stage and the photo taking to start the updates on the other part of the swap-bot pages of this blog.

I've received loads of swaps so please be patient.

I've had tons of doctors appointments.  Turns out I have a fibroid cyst.  It's the size of an ice cream cone and the shape of one.  They showed me a scan of it and sad to say I am now turned away from ice cream!

The pain is pretty bad but they have given me meds and the more it's in my system the more the pain seems to go away.

We are in the process of planning our Thanksgiving.  Thought that maybe the little one could make a couple of Thanksgiving crafts and a chain to count down for Christmas.  I used to make those when I was a kid and thought she would just love to do that too.

I'm also in the planning stages of making an advent calendar.  She seems to be interested in Calendars all of a sudden and thought it would be something for her to enjoy in years to come!

Well that's all for now.  Will write more tomorrow after our daughters first parent-teacher-conference!

Since the last post a lot has been going on around here in my swap world!!

I've gotten big into dotee dolls!  I love them.  They are like my little friends.  I've done a few others like a private swap with a new friend she knows just what I like to get.  Other swaps have included a really cool vampire with lots of goodies.   There were some postcard swaps and a few recipe swaps.  I have a lot to get yet, but that's ok.  It's just all that more of a surprise when I receive them!  Finally was the birthday swap that I received.  That was awesome.  It had black licorice (one of my favorites)  Some buttons, a wonderful handmade card, some memo pads, and a beautiful handmade bracelet which I wear all the time.

Recently I got a candle from my favorite candle company by mistake.  I didn't order it, but it was fantastic of the company to let me keep it too :)  I called them and they just said don't worry about sending it back.  It's burning right now and making the house smell wonderful like a nice Sunday breakfast.  It's called Hot Maple Toddy and one of my favorite candle scents.

Well I guess that's all in the crafting world for the moment.  I will write another day.

Welcome to my blog.  Today has been very blah!  It's raining outside and the only thing that seems to be good about this blah weather is the yummy smell of grapes!

So I thought that I would come online and create a blog.  This website is pretty neat.  I like the fact that I can make different pages and make it more like a website.  So we will give this a shot.

I love to get feedback and if there is anything that you would like to see me write about feel free to leave a comment!
